Happy Mother's Day and Homemade Bread!

Well, my DH surprised me with a Bosch mixer and Nutrimill for Mother's Day. The kids were sooo excited to have me open it on Sunday. They had been keeping it a secret. I knew they were up to something. The UPS man dropped it off and I was not allowed to come out. They rolled a 45 lb pail of hard white wheat into their bedroom on a skateboard! LOL. The mixer works GREAT. We have already made cookies and a batch of bread. will have to wait to try out my Nutrimill as we can't crack open the wheat until we move. Movers come in a couple weeks. Oh I wish we could stay in sunny Florida. That is HOME! My daughter wanted to make a video like the Pink Stamper all the way down to the "Hello everyone" She is toooooo cute!

Another of the cards

My DD had to make a card from EVERYONE in the house even our puppies. She had fun!

Happy Mother's Day

What a wonderful Mother's Day. It would have been absolutely perfect if my DH had been home with us, but such is Army life eh? My sweet daughter started the day at 7:00 a.m. by making pancakes and cutting fresh strawberries and setting the table so elegantly. She and my son even cleaned up everything before letting me come out. They found me and refilled my coffee cup several times as well. too sweet! Breakfast was delicious and then they brought me over to give me homemade cards and goodies. They spoiled me rotten! I LOVED it

Change of Address

Instead of getting all things ready for our huge upcoming move I am busily making adorable little change of address cards. A big FYI though, mailed one out as a trial and it cost $1.33 because the coordinating envelope was too small and because of the brad. I was told to put the entire thing in a larger envelope and that would help, but if I have brads in my cards at all I will be charged extra. Ho hummmmmm.

Nuts about you cards

The last day we made cards and gave little gifties. These Creater a Critter cards turned out cute I think.

Bread too!

These teachers got MAJOR spoiled. AHHHH the smell of bread baking in the kitchen. We made nine loaves that day. This bakery was seriously busy LOL! Almost blew out my KitchenAid.

Jam Baskets

We had lots of fun making the jam, decorating the jars and then decorating little baskets from Michaels. The teachers LOVED them!!

More Teacher Gifts

Teacher appreciation week is exhausting! A new thing each day. I think I have gone a little overboard though, but why not! I sure have had tons of fun. My house on the other hand, not so hot.

Teacher Appreciation week

Wow!! Who would think that teacher appreciation week could be soooo exhausting! A new thing for each day. I guess I could have kept things simple. My daughter is in the 6th grade has 8 teachers and my son in 4th grade has two and of course they want to give to ALL of them. It has been a blast making everything but we are only at Wednesday and I'm pooped!!

Well here's hoping I make it through the week. I am dying to get at my scrapbooks but guess it will have to wait! Movers come in two weeks! I should be getting organized but instead I craft. LOL

Pink Stamper challenge # 10

Okay this one took me a little longer. Had to figure out sizes for my jar. I AM new at this. I have been making all weeks teacher appreciation gifts today as well as the challenges, but I have tried to incorporate some of the gifts with the challenge. This springy Strawberry jam fit well I think. Just made the jam this week. Yummmm. I think the jar turned out pretty cute!
